General features

Crossflow blowers are widely used both in household and industrial appliances and machines, thanks to the small radial size together with an axial size with no restriction on the length.

For this type of blower the main flow moves transversely across the impeller, passing the blading twice. The flow is smoothly spreaded along the output cross-section.

Low levels of noise are achieved thanks to the low velocity of the air on the output.

The range of Trial crossflow blowers includes wheels with diameters of 45, 60, 65 or 80 millimeters and lengths ranging from 90 to 610 millimeters.

Trial aluminium wheels are produced in house according to stringent quality standards and ensure very good balancing levels thus minimizing noise and vibration on the final product.

The available diameters are 45 mm, 60 mm, 65 mm and 80 mm with lengths up to 610 mm.

The scrolls are made by pre-galvanised or cataphoresis painted  metal sheet.

The motors are suited to each product and can be supplied by a.c. or d.c. sources, with voltage and frequency differences from the European standard, e.g. 110 V 60 Hz. They can be delivered in high efficiency brushless versions.

The working environment temperature range is as wide as -10 to +110 °C.

An adequate supply of lubricant on the sleeve bearings of the shaft ensures a long operative life, but ball bearings can be adopted on request.

Trial products can be customized as far as electrical connection, multiple speed, protection against humidity or dust, etc. are concerned.

They can also be delivered with UL/CSA recognition or with certification by other Authorities.
